The old-as-time question of the feminist killjoy: Should I be enjoying this? I’ve found the answer is, typically, not really. Unless of course it’s 30 Rock, or Wanda Sykes standup.
Girl Code is the MTV show that echoes VH1’s I Love the 80’s/90's in set-up and production. The show provides a litany of interview sound bytes from a variety of funny women, and a couple of dudes for “the male perspective.” *eye roll*

In "things that should have happened ten years ago but are just happening now" news, Saturday Night Live has finally auditioned black female cast members.
When Kerry Washington hosted last month, the writers addressed the long-standing issue with a tongue-in-cheek statement about the show being a white-guy-fest, but actions speak louder than words--and action there was not!

The Netherlands is pretty high on the list of countries getting it right. Their TV channel "Dusk!" is also pretty high on their list of things they are getting right.
