Yesterday while promoting her campaign to end childhood obesity in America, Michelle Obama broke it down to Beyonce with a group of middle-schoolers in DC. I don’t know if she can get any more adorable (my guess is no). The first lady has better dance moves than I could ever hope for. Today marks the 85th anniversary of the Martha Graham Dance Company, and to celebrate, they will be performing seven of her most famous works at the Rose Theater in Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center. Tonite’s opening performance includes a revival of Robert Wilsons Snow on the Mesa (1995), and Maple Leaf Rag (1990) the last dance choreographed by Graham before her death at the age of 97 in 1991.
