New La Roux!

by Helen

The brand new video for andro-synth-pop La Roux’s second hit single “In for the Kill” premiered today on MySpace and it is good as gold. The video was directed by LEGS, who’s work you may have seen in the Hindu-Pagan ‘60s girl group gospel drum circle party video for “Dog Days Are Over” by Florence and the Machines. It was filmed in the historic Hotel Chelsea, crash pad for numerous musicians, artists, poets and writers of the ‘60s and ‘70s. In the video however the Hotel is transformed into a dark, sketchy, and sexy love land for La Roux’s Elly Jackson to roam as a night porter with a case of the curiosities. You can also catch an exclusive interview with Elly and behind the scenes footage from the “In For The Kill” video set tonight at 5pm ET/PT on MTV’s new daily show, “The Seven”.
