Barnard College’s Athena Center for Leadership Studies is celebrating women in film, both behind and in front of the camera. Paying tribute to female directors, writers, and producers (as well as the female characters they help create), the second annual Athena Film Festival is “A Celebration of Women and Leadership.”

Our beloved Patsy and Edina are back with a new episode of Absolutely Fabulous to air on BBC America on January 8th! We've been hearing of the reunion for quite some time and are THRILLED with the news. Since originally airing 20 years ago (really? has it been that long?) Ab Fab, the brilliant British sitcom created by Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French, has yet to have been knocked off its pedestal of comedic genius. His fans know him from his Mom character on Youtube (the "star" of 2006's amazing "Look at the tree!" video), as well as the obnoxious teen Debra (from the "Jackie and Debra" video), and the voice of delightfully abrasive Linda Belcher on Bob's Burgers. This guy is so good, if he was on Saturday Night Live, I'd go back to watching it. Here's his latest creation, "Bald with a Blue Tooth." Prepare to be seduced. Read More
