Ayun Halliday, BUST's 'Mother Superior' columnist, will be present at the Brooklyn Book Festival (at Brooklyn Borough Hall) this Sunday, Sept. 13th at noon to participate in a discussion called Reading to Kids, led by children's librarian Lisa Von Drasek. If you want more Ayun, she'll be reading Always Lots of Heinies at the Zoo, as well as taking Heinie-related questions at the Target Children's Area at 3:30. If you're unfamiliar with Halliday's book, it's about the heinies of animals at the zoo. Read More

Oh Ben and Jerry's, I love you so. Do you know what I love most of all? Since you don't know my love of all things containing peanut butter, I'll help you out with this...your Chubby Hubby ice cream! Turns out you're giving my favorite pint a temporary name change in order to celebrate your home state's acceptance of same-sex marriage. I introduce to you Hubby Hubby! Not only do you support Vermont's decision to allow same-sex marriage, you're also trying to raise awareness of the Freedom to Marry campaign, which is something I can definitely get behind. Thank you, Ben and Jerry's. Read More
