In the wake of yet another mass shooting at a school, it is sickening how the feelings of fear and helplessness come over us in a familiar way. Thursday morning, at least ten people were killed and several more wounded in a shooting at Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon. The shooter was a 26-year-old male student who, according to Slate, died in a firefight with police.
