One look at this fully-restored and ridiculously cool vintage Airstream and I’m instantly brought back to memories of watching The Long, Long Trailer, starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz when I was a young girl with my mom. This film lent itself to many a daydream about road-tripping on the open road with only a tricked out Airstream, some great tunes and my bare essentials by my side. Even from my childhood bedroom, I could just taste the pork and beans we'd make and how I could practice howling at the blue corn moon with all sorts of magical, non-rabid animals. Read More

It’s about time we had the female-driven answer to "127 Hours". Written and spoken tales of surviving in the American wilderness have been around since the beginning of our history and are a fundamental part of our country's lore. But, as history and our modern media would have it, these tales traditionally focus on men - our Lewis and Clarks, our Jack Londons. Read More

It’s coming up on the sixteenth anniversary of Princess Diana’s death. A lot has happened since – Charles married Camilla, Will married Kate, and, oh yeah, Prince George was born (as if you hadn’t heard). The beloved princess and humanitarian was only 36 when she died, but her last few years were subject to such intense scrutiny that the media attention she received was blamed for her death.
These last few years, after her divorce from Prince Charles and subsequent romance with Dr. Read More

You should watch this hilarious promo for actress/director/producer Penny Marshall’s new (and very real) memoir, My Mother Was Nuts--but don't blame us if you break a rib laughing.
Fred Armisen dresses in drag to play the amazing Ms. Marshall (who we interview in the upcoming issue of BUST!).
This isn’t the first time Fred and Penny have teamed up to make us giggle. Marshall guest-starred in the second season of Portlandia, which Armisen co-created and co-stars in with riot grrrl legend Carrie Brownstein. Read More

When it comes to werewolves, there are a few words you can usually expect to hear. 'Taylor Lautner,' 'teen wolf' and 'chiseled abs' are a few of the usual suspects. 'Lesbians' and--hell--even 'girls' are far more rare. The most high profile werechick on TV right now is Rikki (Kelly Overton) on True Blood, the girl Alcide is trying to sexercise with while practicing for his impending pack leader battle.
But, that’s about to change with June Temple (Dark Knight, Small Apartments) as an innocent burgeoning lesbian turned werewolf. Read More

If you've ever been on the internet or watched TV past 10 PM, you know there are sexy, hot singles in your area just itching to talk to you...for a price. According to the new hilarious movie For a Good Time, Call... out in September, they are indeed hot, but sometimes reluctant. Read More

In case you guys missed the MTV movie awards (I did, there was a Law & Order marathon and then Girls was on, so I was all booked up), one very significant thing happened outside of a bunch of celebrities taking home a bunch more awards: The Perks of Being a Wallflower trailer happened.
Starring Emma Watson, Nina Dobrev, Mae Whitman, and the relatively unknown Logan Lerman as everyone's favorite antisocial protagonist Charlie, the film has big shoes to fill. The novel is favorite to many, and has even been called the novel of our generation. Read More

It seems to be that we're being bombarded by trailers lately. First it was The Great Gatsby courtesy of Baz Luhrman, and now it's Tom Hooper's Les Misérables. The film stars Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway, and leads me to wonder exactly how much flack Anne will catch for this one.
People have been kind of down on Anne ever since she hosted the Academy Awards with James Franco. Then it was her casting as Catwoman that had fanboys freaking out over the integrity of The Dark Knight Rises. Read More
