  Legendary Ari Up started making a documentary about the influential herstory of her band The Slits. She teamed up with former band manager Jennifer Shagawat to deliver this epic story of social rebellion, riot, and really awesome music. It’s crazy we don’t know that much about The Slits yet, considering they laid the foundation for so many feminist and punk movements that happened after them.
