Remember Fox New’s Jesse Watters making that wholly unacceptable comment about “Beyoncé voters” (aka single women). If not, here’s a video to refresh your memory:
Yeah, you remember now. If there are two things you should never do as a news personality, they are A.) imply that single women (who control the vote you’re so worried about) are DEPENDENT on men B.) bring our girl Beyoncé into this. It’s the perfect ammunition for the internet to react in the hilariously perfect way it has. Read More

Feminist Frank is the meme of the week! Guys could take a few pointers from our friend, Frank. Gentlemen: if you ever find that you're tempted to be a sexist pig in a conversation, try ending every comment with the thought that women are human beings! Super effective and really swell.
I leave off with one of my favorite quotes by Kelley Temple: “Men who want to be feminists do not need to be given a space in feminism. They need to take the space they have in society and make it feminist.”

Okay, so I'm guessing that if you have a TV or any access to the Internet, then you've probably heard about Elaine Stritch. Recently, the 89-year-old actress/genius visited the Today Show and uttered the word "fuck" on live television. As you can imagine, the clip went viral.
Whoddathunk that when you bring one of the funniest women in the entertainment business onto a live TV program, she's going to speak her mind? (Or in this case, just do whatever the FUCK she wants.) I mean, this is Elaine Stritch. Read More

2012 was a banner year for misogyny in the geek/nerd subculture. The Web was absolutely flooded with sexist nonsense on the subject of girls and geekdom. The astoundingly dreadful “Idiot Geek Girl” meme debuted (much to the chagrin of just about everyone), while Tony Harris spewed out his now infamous blog post about how “COSPLAY Chiks” should take their slutty costumes and go home. Tara Tiger Brown even barged into the fray on Forbes, decrying how easy it is for girls these days to fly their geek, freak, and nerd flags as high as they damn well please. Read More

Some idiot on Reddit decided to post a meme called “Feminist Nazi,” kicking off a series of memes by the same name, all of which portray feminists as unintelligent hypocrites.
The Reddittor, Galactic777, submitted the image pictured above of Layla Subritzky, a cast member from the ninth season of Big Brother Australia, that says “You’re supposed to pull my chair out, hold the door open for me, pay for me and be nice to me no matter what while treating me like an equal. On Tuesday, Senate Republicans blocked the Paycheck Fairness Act, a bill that would have ensured women be paid the same amount as their male counterparts. Despite the fact that this bill seems to make perfect sense to anyone with half a brain, the final vote was 52-47. The real mind-boggling cherry on top of this already non-sensical sundae is the fact that several female senators (who apparently don’t mind being paid less than their male counterparts all that much) were among those that voted against the bill. And the Hunger Games madness continues! This time it takes the form of the (extremely awesome) Hunger Names generator. Click the link, and it tells you your Panem name, which Hunger Games you participated in, and the way you died. Give it a go, and leave your Hunger Names in the comments!
According to Hunger Names, my name is Dabble Portmanteau, I was a District 6 tribute in the 70th Hunger Games, and I was killed by a poison kiss (guess I didn't have any rubber lips on me, amirite?). Read More
