Joanna Miller is used to the beauty industry’s lack of attention to her skin tone. If you've got a design nerd in your life, you probably know that Pantone, the self-proclaimed “world-renowned authority on color,” announces a "color of the year" annually. Essentially, the company predicts what color will be dominating home-goods, design, and cosmetic stores the following year.
