If Tina Fey’s new NBC show, and Kristen Schaal’s upcoming ABC series weren’t enough exciting lady-centric television news for you, fear not. Deadline has just reported that Saturday Night Live alumna Maya Rudolph is developing a variety show pilot with NBC!
Rudolph’s last television endeavor, NBC’s Up All Night, on which she co-starred with Christina Applegate and Will Arnett, was cancelled in February. Rudolph then indicated that instead of another sitcom, she was interested in pursuing a variety show. Read More

YOU GUYS. THE BEST THING HAS HAPPENED. As announced yesterday, NBC has ordered thirteen episodes of a new sitcom from TV/comedy/everything goddess Tina Fey.
Ellie Kemper from Bridesmaids and The Office is set to star as a woman who moves to New York following her escape from a doomsday cult, sooooooo this is probably going to be the greatest thing to grace the small screen in a while (or just...ever). The show, currently untitled, will debut next fall. Read More

It's that time of year again. No, not when your new shows are coming back for the second half of their season—it's pilot season! Where networks start working on new shows to replace the ones that have left us, the ones that were torn from us, the ones we didn't even know existed, and the ones that were finally put to rest.Of the five major networks, there are about 88 new shows in the running to become America's next top show. It's pretty much split down the middle between comedys and dramas (with a few dramedys thrown in just to shake things up). Read More

Tonight, I will be doing one of three things: high-fiving a million angels, working on my night cheese, or crying out of my mouth. I might even do them all at the same time. Why? Because tonight, the first episode of the final season of 30 Rock airs. While I'm looking forward to the new season, I'm devastated that it's over. In times of great strife like these, I feel that I must turn to music and/or dairy products for consolation. Luckily, BUST covergirl Tina Fey provided us with plenty of hilarious musical stylings over the past few years, both for her and her castmates. Read More

In totally standard/I-can’t-believe-I’m-even-shocked Olympic news, NBC aired last night’s women’s gymnastics qualifiers straight from Catty Voyeur City. Look, I realize Olympic gymnastics has always been lousy with personalities, whether it’s the (usually Russian) so-called Diva Gymnast or the commentators who make their own creepy sport of over-deriding and/or over-praising anyone who dares set foot on that floor mat. It’s an uber-competitive event. Most of its biggest stars are very young girls. Read More
