Courtney Love is going to the opera. The former BUST cover gal will be co-starring in Kansas City Boy Choir, a pop opera written by composer Todd Almond, according to The New York Times. The opera will debut as part of PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now, an NYC festival running from Jan. 8 to 17.

In case you’ve never heard of it, Into the Woods is basically the best musical ever. Literally. It is a work of genius born from the genius of the ever-magnificent Stephen Sondheim and bestowed upon our world as a heavenly gift.

While I usually cringe at the thought of a Broadway adaptation of a favorite movie-- I'm still recovering from "Bring it On: the Musical"-- I'm surprisingly excited to hear that 1980s cult-classic "Heathers" is receiving the razzle dazzle treatment with it's very own musical.
While the show already premiered in Los Angeles, those of us on the east side can hope to catch it when it premieres at Off-Broadway's New World Stages, with previews starting on March 17 and its grand opening night March 31. Read More

Full disclosure, I love musicals, so The Tony Awards is always one of my favorite things to watch. Living in NYC doesn’t mean I get to go see a lot of Broadway, as let’s get real, I can’t afford it. But the shows I have been able to catch this season, and the musicals featured on The Tony Awards look like something you must try to get over and see. Motown! Annie! Newsies! Kinky Boots! I really could go on…but back to Neil Patrick Harris.
