"I am such a big fan of Britney Spears. I love ALL her songs which gave me reason to create a portrait of her in Corn Flakes form," explains artist Sarah Rosado, who clearly wasn't listening when her parents told her not to play with her food.
Rosado is based out of the Bronx, where she creates images of famous female singers using cornflakes and kitchen utensils. Her inspiration? A breakfast playlist that inspires her to get crafty. Carmen Sandiego, the glamorous detective turned traveling thief, is a cartoon lady I hold near and dear to my heart (I totally learned a lot from her!) so I'm not sure if I'm excited or annoyed to hear a live-action version starring Jennifer Lopez might be in the works. Walden Media has acquired rights to Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? and are in talks to have Jennifer Lopez play the main character. As of right now, she's only officially attached to the project as producer though. Read More
