Artist Spencer Tunick created his latest large-scale nude art piece at this week’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland. 100 women posed nude on Sunday outside the convention center, holding up mirrors to reflect “the knowledge and wisdom of progressive women and the concept of ‘Mother Nature’ into and onto the convention center, cityscape and horizon of Cleveland.”
According to Tunick’s website, more than 1,800 women signed up for the 100 spots he needed filled to complete the piece, called “Everything She Says Means Everything.”
“Republicans, Democrats and all other political parties were welcome to take part reflecting their anger through art against the hateful repressive rhetoric of many in the Republican Party towards women and minorities,” says Tunick on his website.
