Each element is lauded over by a King and Queen, who represent the most righteous form, the pinnacle, of each element’s power. Kings are great and all, but yawn, patriarchy. The Queens of the tarot channel feminine energy and are known for approaching problems with intuition and inner strength, rather than the blunt force of the Kings.

She is connected to all things tangible and material. She is one with nature and may visit you as a jackrabbit or garter snake; however, she’s also likely to visit you in the form of a more-than-cost-of-living raise at work. The Queen knows that her beloved children are made of stardust, just like her diamonds, and she nurtures both. She built your body and she finds every freckle, roll, and wrinkle beautiful. You are a work of earth art.
You channel the Queen of Pentacles when you build a DIY chicken coop. Pricked by a thorn? That’s your Queen reminding you that Earth is greater than your blood. Flush with cash? Thank the Queen for blessing you with earthly possessions. Sweet bud (or tomato) harvest? Your Queen has your back. Sing her praises when you squat your body weight. She gave you those damn quads.
