Here are just a few fashionable New Yorkers that I’ve come across in the past few weeks, including one fabulous former Project Runway contestant! The above photo of Vintage Vandelizm blogger, Jasmin Rodriguez, is one of my very favorite looks. From head to toe, this girl is committed to glamour in a way I really appreciate and admire. She works with a friend of mine at the awesome Billy’s Antiques on Houston street in NYC. Below is the wonderful designer Austin Scarlett of Project Runway Season 1. The other day, he came into Monk, the vintage store I work at, and I immediately blurt out, “Austin Scarlett!” He was like “uh..hi.” AWWKWARD. (Not really). He was super sweet and although less flamboyantly dressed than I’ve seen before, he was totally summer chic.
