It’s Wednesday, which means two things: 1. Happy hump day, BUSTies and 2. The weekend is on its way, so mini-dance parties at your desk are totally acceptable. This weekend, New York is the place to be for a full-fledged, booty-bouncing dance party that’ll kick your mini-dance party’s butt. The second Saturday of every month sees an exodus to Brooklyn, the L train packed with beautiful bodies making their way to HEY QUEEN! at Public Assembly. This week, the theme is GYM QUEEN! and the invitation is out for you to get physical and work it out on the dance floor.
Hosts Sarah Jenny and Avory Agony want to celebrate all bodies as beautiful at this queer dance party, and DJs Amber Valentine, Fucci, Designer Imposter and Gogos Travis Steele and Tangerine Jones will be making it happen. Queen of Honor, the performer of note that’s different each month, will be Max Steele.
As someone who has been to HEY QUEEN! and danced her face off (literal ass on the ground kind of night) trust me when I say, no one parties like the Queens do.
