Well, now there’s an app to solve all your dumping woes: pros Jake Levine and Lauren Leto have developed BreakupText, an app which will deliver a gentle and earnest text from dumper to dumpee. To use the app, one must answer a few simple questions about the relationship, its degree of seriousness, and the reason for its downfall, and a long, meaningful text will be sent immediately.
I see BreakupText mostly as a parody of the way some people use technology to break up with significant others in insensitive ways, but you just know someone is going to take it seriously. No one deserves to receive a BreakupText, so use this app sparingly (or only if someone did something really, really bad).
