After pads and tampons were confiscated last week during an anti-abortion law hearing, I had enough sense to believe people were going to go bat-shit crazy over this latest Texas travesty. They did. Everyone remembers the kick-ass filibuster by Sen. Wendy Davis which prevented the vote on SB-5, a Texas bill which would prevent abortions after 20 weeks as well as imposing costly requirements on abortion clinics and providers; essentially, this bill intensely reduces access to abortions on many levels.

If Arizona wasn't already getting you all riled up, now Texas is making things even more infuriating. Sunday night, hundreds of protesters crowded into the Texas capitol in an effort to stop the passage of Senate Bill 5. SB5 essentially piled all of the bills that didn't pass during Texas' normal session into one huge anti-abortion agenda.
