Zines, please! Brooklyn's most laid-back zine festival, Pete's Mini Zine Fest, is this Saturday from 2pm-7pm at Pete's Candy Store in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Come by for zines, beer, and company. Plus, there is a reading tonight, Friday, August 23rd, at Pete's from 6:30-7:30 with tabling zinesters. Here is the address!

Calling all comics fans! Comic artist Peter Bagge has announced that he will be going on tour to promote his new book, "Woman Rebel: The Margaret Sanger Story.”
The comic book graphic novel is a beeeautiful hardback representation of Margaret Sanger’s political influence and journey to becoming the public figure she’s known as today.
