You Down With PVD? (Yeah, You Know Me!)

by Maggie Carr

Ladies, assemmmmble! (Picture that said in a Ron Burgundy voice. It’s funnier.)

The PVD Lady Project, founded in 2011 by badass entrepreneurs Julie Sygiel and Sierra Barter, functions as an “old girls’ network” for Providence, RI-area movers and shakers.

On Saturday, April 13, the PVD Lady Project is puttin’ on the Lady Project Summit, an epic day-long conference chock-full of inspiring speakers and hands-on workshops. From 9am to 7pm, you can network and nosh with some of the most creative and interesting lady entrepreneurs on the East Coast, including BUST Editor-In-Chief and co-founder Debbie Stoller!

In addition to these pre-planned activities, the Lady Project is providing breakfast, lunch, and post-event cocktails, as well as quickie DIY tutorials on everything from desk yoga to mixology.

It’s only $75 to join in the action–and Providence is a quick and easy day trip from NYC, Boston, and Philly. Check out the full lineup, as well as registration info, on the PVD Lady Project’s website.

We’ll see you there!
