Have you been jonesing for more time with the complicated and fascinating Lisbeth Salander? If so, this is your lucky week– we just got word that The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is being adapted into a graphic novel (to be published by DC Comics/Vertigo). Award-winning crime author Denise Mina will write The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo: Book One, with art by Lee Bermejo, Leonardo Manco, and Andrea Mutti. The novels are already plenty suspenseful and action-packed, so it’s a pretty natural step to turn them into awesomely artistic graphic novels. Each book in the series will be split into two hardcovers, and Book One will be available November 13, while Book Two will be released sometime in spring 2013. We can’t wait to see how these novels portray Larsson’s defiant hacker and bona fide badass. Will you be first in line to pick up a copy?
