Looking for a new lipstick brand to highlight your flawlessly bold confidence and also help important social causes? Check out our new favorite brand The Lipstick Lobby for makeup that gives back to the community. Their proceeds go to various charities that help make impactful social change, such as the ACLU and Planned Parenthood.
Their new lip balm, called “In the Clear” donates 100% of net profits to the unPrison Project, whose work helps to “empower incarcerated women and girls by teaching them life skills, cultivating critical thinking, creating plans for life after prison and heloing them stay connected to their children.”
Check out Gloria Steinem and other great women modeling for the “In the Clear” campaign!
The Lipstick Lobby also is passionate about preventing gun violence. Their shade “Fired Up” donates 100% of net profits to the Brady Center, a non-profit that focuses on gun control. The Brady Center has a three-step plan to reduce all gun deaths by half by the year 2025, which includes increasing background checks, clamping down on who they call “Bad Apple Gun Dealers” and educating people about the hazards that guns in homes present to families.
For their “Outrage” shade, $5 of each sale is donated to the ACLU, an organization helps to defend everyone’s human rights. Their “Kiss My Pink” shade donates 100% of its net profits to Planned Parenthood because of the threats our government has made to its crucial funding.
On their website, The Lipstick Lobby discusses how their products are “a reminder that small actions can create big waves.” We couldn’t agree more!
