Nov. 4 marks midterm elections in the United States, and MoveOn is one organization that wants to make sure everybody gets out to vote!
MoveOn is a community of 8 million Americans who share the common goal of winning campaigns for progressive change. The organization is asking for volunteers at its field offices to come in, step up for progress, and call women voters located in important battleground states, like Colorado, Iowa and North Carolina, to make sure everyone votes and has his or her voice heard this November. If you can’t physically be present, donations as small as $5 can go a long way in helping the organization attain its goal of reaching as many potential voters as possible before November 4th.
This election is particularly important as Democrats are in danger of losing the Senate. There are so many vital issues at hand- raising the minimum wage, ensuring that women earn equal pay for equal work and protecting our reproductive rights- so don’t let a busy schedule or a long line at the polls stop you from participating in our democracy!
Remember that together we can do something BIG to make positive change, but we all have to get involved and we all have to VOTE!
