Faith Evangeline of Girl World Design and the awesome Evil Pawn Jewelry has created a portion of her website that goes out to the ladies: the Girl Revolution section works to engage female positivity and be an open space where women of all ages can spread a little (or a lot) of joy about themselves and each other. Seeing a lack of female bonding in the world, Faith started hosting parties where she and her girlfriends hang out and get “girl-friendly,” doing everything from creating vision boards and jamming out, to bowling and movie outings. Sometimes she spices things up with a theme (’80s skating party!). There’s no gossiping or negative talk at her girl parties, ideals she’s transitioned to the site which she hopes will inspire ladies to not only host their own likeminded events where women can band together, but also to go out in the world and promote all kinds of girl-friendliness. In addition to checking out party ideas and photos of her past Girl Revolution gatherings, you can also buy Faith’s feminist-inspired bracelet or cuffs, a portion of the proceeds of which go to one of her favorite organizations: Planned Parenthood. You can also grab copies of the riot grrrl–inspired ’zine Girl Coma. Soon the site will also feature info about other inspirational women, as well as links to girl-centric books and bands.
