As you are making your plans to celebrate Women’s History Month this March, make sure you tell all your friends that your Saturday nights are booked. “Her Take,” a blend of remarkable films by women, will be presented every Saturday this March at 8 pm eastern time on the Documentary Channel (DOC). In an industry that is so often not unkind to women filmmakers, it is beyond beautiful that he Documentary channel is taking the month to celebrate five women and their brilliant films.

WMM is all about getting women’s films out to the world.
“Her Take” will start this Saturday, March 3rd with the film Pink Skies. Filmmaker Gulcin Gilbert’s gripping movie about cancer shows how women find ways to empower themselves physically and emotionally as athletes while battling the horrid disease. The women famously organized a world record skydiving event to raise over a million dollars to fight the disease!
