In the new year we all stock up on new supplies: organizers, planners, and the usual calendar. Lauren Marsella sent us a neat little calendar today that’s a bit unconventional, funny, and snarky. Instead of typical photos of puppies or canonical art pieces, Marsella has drawn portraits of dead celebrities.
Celebs are featured in the month he or she took the big sleep. Featuring some of the late and greats: Bea Arthur, Michael Jackson and John Updike (one of my favorite authors) kicks off the calendar. As an added bonus, none of the portraits are colored in – so grab your markers or pencils and shade away.
Hurry up though, there’s only an edition of 150 of these calendars. And we’re number 66.
