Looking to have a grand old time this despite Tropical Storm Andrea’s wrath? The Grand Comics Festival is this weekend in Brooklyn. It is at the perfect time to be at a comics festival, which is from 11 am-7pm. This is where you’ll be able to find indie comics, zines, prints, get commissions, meet cartoonists, and more. This is the first time the festival is being held, and it will be at Bird River Studios on Grand Ave. The mastermind curator and organizer behind this affair is cartoonist Pat Dorian. The list of thirty-four exhibitors features Kriota Willburg, Ellen Lindner, Lauren Zukauskas, and many more. Check them all out from the Grand Comics Festival’s site.
