Doctor Prescribes Blow Jobs To Woman With Gag Reflex

by Tess Duncan

That’s right, ladies. If you’re feeling a bit choked up, the best thing to do is suck a dick twice a week. At least, that’s the advice Dr. J. Peter Zegarra would say. A female patient came to Zegarra’s office in Sacramento and Zegarra proposed an upper-gastrointestinal endoscopy to investigate some of her symptoms. She was reluctant to go through with the treatment because it involves an endoscope that travels down the throat into the intestinal tract. She explained that a simple teeth cleaning at the dentist triggered her sensitive gag reflex and she didn’t want to experience the procedure. His response? “She should be practicing twice a week on her husband by giving him (oral sex) to address her gagging reflex.” (Although the news report censored it, if you look closely on the medical board’s reprimand you can see that he said “blow jobs.” How clinical!) Did I mention that her husband was in the room, too? Totally not awkward.

And I thought that myth about semen making your teeth whiter was bad. The California Medical Board has issued an official public reprimand, which states that Zegarra’s recommendation was done in a “crude sexual fashion.” To say the least! A doctor should be someone you can trust, who makes you feel comfortable when you’re experiencing medical problem that’s making you uncomfortable to begin with.

But it gets even better when you look at what Cassandra Hockenson, a rep from the medical board, had to say. Hockenson told news reporters, “This constituted unprofessional conduct, and so this is a message that this probably wasn’t appropriate.” Yeah, PROBABLY. PROBABLY NOT APPROPRIATE. Le sigh.
