7 Portraits Of Female Musicians Created Entirely With Cereal

by Madison N Nunes

“I am such a big fan of Britney Spears. I love ALL her songs which gave me reason to create a portrait of her in Corn Flakes form,” explains artist Sarah Rosado, who clearly wasn’t listening when her parents told her not to play with her food.

Rosado is based out of the Bronx, where she creates images of famous female singers using cornflakes and kitchen utensils. Her inspiration? A breakfast playlist that inspires her to get crafty. Not only do we love cereal (especially the chocolate-y kind); we also love Rosado and her creative take on some of our favorite ladies. Below the artist shares some of her images with us and explains why she chose the powerful women she did:

“I chose Rihanna because of her awesome music, style, and attitude.”

“I chose Madonna because grow up listening to Madonna… My mom played her all the time.”

“I chose Lady Gaga because of her uniqueness and creativity. When it comes to music, she definitely knows how to liven up the crowd.”

“I chose Alicia Keys because her songs are so lovely and beautifully written.”

“I chose Bey because her music is so much fun. Her songs make me feel like I’m in a music video.”

I chose Jlo  because  I love her style of music and her realness. I remember listening to one of her songs, ‘Feelin’ So Good (Remix)’ from her hit album On the 6 and trying to imitate her dance moves performed in her music video.”
