Tilda Swinton Is Hanging Out in a Box at the MoMA

by Shelby L Thompson

As if “The Scream” wasn’t incentive enough to head to The Museum of Modern Art, Tilda Swinton will be hanging out in a glass box periodically throughout the rest of 2013 as part of her piece “The Maybe.” Swinton previously performed this piece at London’s Serpentine Gallery and at a museum in Rome.

Maybe it will be cool? According to museum sources, the Oscar-winning actress does not have a schedule of her appearances, and no one on staff knows exactly when she will spend her days in the box, or where the box will be located within the museum.

For all you Twitterati out there, you can follow the exhibit at #TheMaybe, and maybe get a better idea of when to make the trek to the museum. The MoMA is generally closed on Tuesdays, but are open tomorrow, March 26, and April 2 from 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Maybe you’ll see David Bowie, err, I mean Tilda Swinton.
