RAINN (Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network) and Music Box Films are getting together for the DVD release of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and the theatrical releases of the next two in the trilogy, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest. Being that the main character of the Millenium Trilogy deals with sexual abuse and its aftermath, this co-opted social action campaign destined for over 1,000 colleges, universities, and crisis centers aims to highlight the importance of getting help for the potentially long-lasting effects of dangerous events and situations that may last only minutes. Victims are never alone; help is free and confidential 24/7 at either 1-800-656-HOPE or rainn.org.
