Finally, We Learn What We Already Knew: Bill Cosby Bought Quaaludes to Drug Women For Sex

by Kathryn Hensch

Lo and behold, there’s finally evidence of the deplorable actions of Bill Cosby. Recently released court documents from 2005 contain the former TV star admitting to acquiring prescription drugs to give to women he wanted to have sex with. Shocking? Not really, due to the many women who have come forward with allegations of sexual assault and rape against Cosby.

The documents come from a lawsuit made by Andrea Constand against Cosby. “When you got the Quaaludes,” Constand’s attorney asks him, “was it in your mind that you were going to use these Quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?” He responds with a simple “Yes.” When asked if he had “given any young women the Quaaludes without their knowledge”, his lawyer stopped him from saying anything other than that he had given drugs to “other people” (besides Constand).

The victims of the comedian can breathe a little easier knowing it’s much harder for skeptics to call them a liar with this new evidence. “It’s huge. I’ve worked so long and hard to tell my story and screamed my story onto deaf ears. It was like everything turned a 180 in a matter of a minute,” Barbara Bowman told CNN.
