I’ve been following Lex Croucher, also known as tyrannosauruslexxx on youtube, since I was 15. I’ll admit, at first I just thought she was pretty and I’m kind of like a bird who likes to look at pretty things. However, I feel like we both grew up living parallel lives, learning to care about feminism and human rights as time went by.
Now, Lex is one of the top female content creators on youtube. Hailing from the United Kingdom, Lex makes comedic and informational video blogs about womanhood, veganism, and occasionally reacts to pictures of lawns.
In her most recent video, Lex explains the offside rule of soccer (or “football” for the rest of the world) for us ladies. Some of her explanations include:
“The offside rule means that any player that scores a hat trick gets to immediately go off the pitch and order a side of chips.”
“The offside rule was actually called that because the person who invented it had a tendency to mumble and the person who was writing it didn’t quite hear what they said. It was actually mean to be the ‘off-slide’ rule, which dictates that only one player can play on the slide at a time. The other players have to use the swings or the bouncy horse while they wait their turn.”
