Amy Schumer Promises To Keep Exposing Herself In Season 4 Trailer

by Lily Myers

Amy Schumer fans, rejoice! The trailer for season 4 of her Comedy Central series Inside Amy Schumer was released yesterday, along with a season premiere date: April 21. T minus one month and three days, guys.

Amy Schumer’s had a fantastically successful year. There was last summer’s Trainwreck, which she wrote and starred in. She co-wrote a screenplay with Jennifer Lawrence (I know, I know, remember to breathe). Her HBO special, directed by Chris Rock, had me cry-drooling with uncontrollable laughter for an hour. She hosted SNL, picked up a plethora of awards, and opened for Madonna at Madison Square Garden. This chick is everywhere. But despite all of this dazzling success, she’s not abandoning her show. Thank goddess.

The trailer pokes fun at her new high profile and massive fame. In the thirty-second promo, Schumer’s doctor tells her she’s “overexposed”; too many magazine covers and Instagram cameos! It’s time to go away for a while — leave the show behind! “No can do, doc,” Schumer says, turning to the camera with a signature Schumer expression. “I gotta follow my heart.” We’re all relieved to hear that.

Season 4 is sure to be excellent, chock full of top-notch co-stars like Lin-Manuel Miranda, Steve Buscemi and Selena Gomez. Get ready for more cry-drooling. Or, you know, whatever you personally do when you laugh too hard.
