ghostbusters2016 1

If you weren't longing for it to be summer already, the first trailer for the new Ghostbusters movie came out this morning and uhhh why can't it be June already? The remake stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth. Though it's easy to be skeptical about remakes, the new trailer looks rad and with a cast like this you can't lose. The trailer already looks better than the 1984 original further proving that girls rule, boys drool, and ghosts slime.

In February, Paul Feig became the first man to be honored at the Athena Film Festival receiving the festival's inaugural Leading Man Award for his work championing women in film. Feig ain't afraid of no girl remakes.
