An awesome local news anchor from La Crosse, Wisconsin, Jennifer Livingston, fired back after receiving an email from a man criticizing her appearance. The author admitted to not even being an avid viewer of the news program, but for some reason felt compelled to send her an email bashing her body.
In his email, very unfortunately and idiotically titled ‘Community responsibility’, he called her obese and even went so far as to say, “Surely you don’t consider yourself a suitable example for this community’s young people, girls in particular.” Ugh. What this guy doesn’t seem to realize is that it’s his words that are actually not a suitable example for young people. Obviously Jennifer’s body is none of this guy’s business, not to mention that you can’t judge someone’s health by appearance alone.
In response, she delivered an incredible on-air rebuttal, noting that the guy doesn’t know her or anything about her, and is judging her solely by outward appearance.
