This Hulu original series based on the classic feminist dystopian novel by Margaret Atwood stars Elisabeth Moss as Offred, a woman forced into sexual slavery by a totalitarian government intent on repopulating their dying world. A potent reminder of what can happen when women’s rights are stripped away, Handmaid’s Tale promises to be a hit with the pussy hat crowd when it premieres April 26.

A feminist video series launched by artist, writer, and filmmaker Miranda July in 1995, Joanie 4 Jackie was a riot grrrl chain letter that connected and inspired female creatives well into the next decade. Now recognized as a valuable time capsule of the era, the whole collection has been donated to the Getty Research Institute in L.A. and archived online for the first time at Joanie4Jackie.com.

3: Twin Peaks on Showtime
Warm up the cherry pie and brew a fresh pot of coffee, because the revival of the iconic David Lynch series Twin Peaks is coming to Showtime May 21. The 18 new episodes are a continuation of the original early ’90s series, set in the present day, 25 years after the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer.

4: Not the White House Correspondents’ Dinner on TBS
The White House Correspondents’ Dinner is traditionally attended by the president and features speakers gently roasting the current administration. But this year, Trump isn’t going and Samantha Bee is taking the “gentle” out of the equation by hosting her own alternative event on the same night, April 29, where nobody plans to go easy on the Cheeto-in-Chief. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Committee to Protect Journalists, and the show will be broadcast on TBS soon after.
