On Wednesday, Samantha Bee deservedly denounced President Trump’s recent budget proposal while also comparing it to the male genitalia.
The ‘hard power budget’ features federal cuts to the Environmental Protection Agency, non-defense spending at the State Department, Health and Human Services and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The plan, however, does propose a 54 billion increase in defense spending.
“This kind of sounds like when an insecure guy tries to make his penis look bigger by shaving down everything else around it,” said Bee.
Bee also featured a recent clip of White House budget director Mick Mulvaney discussing budget plans for fighting climate change.
“We’re not spending money on that anymore,” Mulvaney said in a public statement. “We consider that to be a waste of your money.”
That’s nice.
Bee responded in the absolute best way.
“Fuck it. Trump’s America is already a figurative hell; it might as well be hot as hell too.”
