The Halftime Show None Of Us Needed
Whether you watched the Superbowl for the actual game or Bad Bunny’s halftime gift to us all, you probably missed the creepy adoption ad (produced by anti-abortion extremists, Live Action) that aired during TPUSA’s train wreck halftime concert. “The Girl in the Middle” frames adoption as the third (and moral) option to an unexpected pregnancy, but purposely hides the real truth: adoption is NOT the alternative to abortion—it’s the alternative to PARENTING, you chucklefucks! They conveniently ignore that pregnancy isn’t health-neutral (and can actually be pretty damn dangerous), and irresponsible ads like this ignore that there are real consequences and a lack of resources for folks during pregnancy. But why would they be honest when they don’t actually want you to make informed decisions they don’t agree with?
Ohio State University… You Good???
At a time when OB-GYN training is under attack and reproductive health care is hanging by a thread, Ohio State’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is stuck in a swirl of deeply unsettling headlines. Survivors of longtime OSU team doctor Richard Strauss — who abused students for decades — are still fighting for accountability. A federal judge recently ordered billionaire and “Epstein co-conspirator” Les Wexner to testify in a lawsuit over the abuse, since he served on the university’s board while it was happening and helped shape how misconduct was handled, according to reporting from WOSU. Coooool coolcoolcoolcool.
Speaking of everyone’s least favorite Jess, it turns out Epstein had an Ohio doctor ON RETAINER while he was the chair of Ohio State’s OB-GYN department. The files revealed quarterly payments of $25k to Dr. Mark Landon, and that packages with undisclosed contents were sent directly to his home.
