Parkland Student Activists: “This Is The Way I Have To Grieve”

Students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School continue to receive national attention for their outcry against gun violence, after an ex-student killed 14 students and three staff members last Wednesday. This New York Times Op-Ed Says Women Shouldn’t Wear Yoga Pants

New Jersey Man Drives A Truck Into A Planned Parenthood Clinic

Last Wednesday, a 31-year-old man drove a stolen bakery truck into the Planned Parenthood East Orange Health Clinic, injuring three people — including a pregnant woman. He was charged with six counts of assault and is awaiting trial. Read more at ABC News.

Does gender equality mean fewer women in STEM?

A new study in Psychology Today draws a surprising conclusion: in countries with less gender equality, there are more women in STEM fields. The researchers suggest that “women in countries with higher gender inequality are simply seeking the clearest possible path to financial freedom,” but it’s clear that there’s much more research to be done.
