Hilarious but scarily too realistic. Already there are laws that force doctors to show women an ultrasound before they can undergo the procedure (Kentucky’s trying to pass that law right now.) And currently a pregnant Iowa woman is being jailed for trying to murder her fetus after she fell down the stairs, voluntarily went to the hospital out of concern for the fetus, and while she was there admitted to the hospital personnel that she….wait for it…. hadn’t originally wanted to be pregnant. *Gasp* Clearly, we have a dangerous criminal on our hands.
I got lots of love for Texas but the “Take a Life, Save a Life” program sounds like something Governor Good Hair would gleefully sign off on. But I mean, “if a woman isn’t ready to have her kidney removed then it’s clear she has doubts about getting an abortion.”
