If you’ve grown tired of rummaging through used book stores, looking for that perfectly cheesy Harlequin romance novel just for the cover art, here’s an exhibit that’s just for you. In celebration of the publishing house’s sixty year anniversary, Openhouse Gallery is hosting an exhibition called The Heart of a Woman of original cover art from 1949-2009. Seeing the work all together will provide commentary on the shifting image of women, sex and desire. It’s opening on May 29th and is only running through June 12th. Here’s hoping they have posters for sale.-Celeste
