The blogger behind Will Travel For Vegan Food reaches the end of the road and is ready to party!

by Emily Rems

In the summer of 2011, Kristin Lajeunesse left her nine to five job, sold or donated most of her personal belongings, ended a long-term relationship, purchased and renovated a sports van, and hit the road on a quest to dine at and document every vegan restaurant in America on her blog Will Travel For Vegan Food.

Now, 1 book deal, 48 states, 500+ vegan eateries, and over 35,000 miles later, Lajeunesse’s life-changing journey is finally coming to an end. And to celebrate this milestone, she’s hosting a fundraising party in N.Y.C. on the evening of Thursday, August 22nd, at Top of The Garden Event Space to benefit Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. The party will be catered by vegan wunderkind Chef Jay Astafa and will feature sweets from Vegan Treats as well as live music, dance performances, a silent auction, and more.
