A Texas DA who wrongly CHARGED A WOMAN WITH MURDER for a self-managed abortion ALSO paid for his mistress’s abortion! The tea alllllll came out in the case being brought by the woman he locked up, who is suing for $1 million for the trauma caused. If you ask us, double that number and then we’ll talk.
As always, Texas remains “rules for thee, none for me,” when it comes to abortion: A newly proposed law goes after shield laws that protect out-of-state docs, and would allow lawsuits against anyone who mails, delivers, prescribes, or distributes abortion pills.
So to recap: people are DYING because of the Texas abortion ban, but the men of the legislature will always have the Sidepiece Exception. Make it make sense.
