It has been a season of revivals with beloved shows finding new life across platforms and networks. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rosenanne is being shopped to the networks, and stars Rosanne Barr, John Goodman and Sara Gilbert are all on board. If picked upwould joinThe X-Flies, Will and Grace and Twin Peaks as part of a ’90s nostalgia movement that has fueled a series of second acts. Roseanne, which follows the misadventures of a working-class family in Illinois, started in 1988 and nabbed four Emmy awards during its almost 10-year run. News of the revival comes just a month shy of the 20-year anniversary of the season finale, which aired on May 20th, 1997.
