Metronomy’s New Music Video “Love Letters” In Time For V-Day

by Laura Fontaine Haines

Love letters: what could possibly be more fun and wonderful to send or receive?! They are truly one of the world’s most romantic gestures of all time. There is simply nothing like taking the time to appreciate your love interest by allowing your heart to flow through your fingertips when you connect pen to paper. It doesn’t have to matter if it’s the tingly bubble-gum butterflies or the deeply rooted unconditional devotion that we feel towards our partner, sending them our mushy words is meaningful.

In time for the one and only day made for recognizing loving feelings, English electro-pop group Metronomy have released an awesome video for their newest track Love Letters.  And it rules.

The video was directed by Academy Award winner Michel Gondry who has produced a substantial collection of other totally memorable music vids for artists like The Chemical Brothers, The White Stripes, Bjork and Beck. And like the others, Love Letters includes videography that features a cool take on frames of reference.

Let us know what you think of this new one. (And happiest of Valentine’s days to y’all <3).
