Kelly Reichardt’s ‘River of Grass’ Will Be Rereleased in March

Indie powerhouse writer/director Kelly Reichardt’s first film, River of Grass, will be rereleased this March — you may know Reichardt from films including Wendy and Lucy, Meek’s Cutoff, Certain Women and Night Moves. River of Grass is set in southern Florida, where Reichardt grew up. The film follows bored housewife Cozy, who meets the deadbeat Lee in a bar. Before the night is out, the two commit a crime and must go on the run. Eventually, though, Cozy takes command of her own destiny.

A newly restored version of the 1994 film will open in select theaters March 11. Check out the trailer below.
