I can’t say I’m a Mountain Dew drinker, but if you are, or just love artsy packaging (that’s me!), you’re in for a little surprise. The Dew just announced the forthcoming release of Green Label Art, Volume III, which is a series of aluminum bottles featuring custom designs from six amazing artists.
The diverse set of artists include Pushead, Nathan Cabrera, Jeff McMillan, Stephan Bliss, UPSO, and Claw Money, who happens to be the first female artist to participate in the Green Label Art series. I cross my fingers that the addition of Claw Money will encourage Mountain Dew to select more female artists for this spotlight campaign!
Claw Money , who has roots in the NY graffiti scene, is well known for her signature ‘paw with three claws’ icon, which will adorn the Dew bottles for the next six weeks.
Not only will each artist’s designs be featured on the bottles, Green Label Art has incorporated elements from them into gear from WeSC, Adidas, Zoo York, Burton Snowboards, G-Shock, and New Era. To get your hands on those products, though, you’ll have to participate in the under-the-cap sweepstakes on specially marked Mountain Dew products.
And, if that wasn’t enough, Green Label Art will have a two-week long exhibit in NYC, which will showcase these creations and other works.
You can learn more about Green Label Art through their website , blog , or Twitter page .
