It’s like May Day, but with more books and fewer poles. Probably less dancing, too. OK, so, nothing like May Day.
May 1 has been declared Buy Indie Day by IndieBound.com. Go to your nearest independent bookstore and buy at least one book!
The day is supposed to be for books, but why stop there? Go out and support your favorite indie artists, clothing designers, jewelry shops, record stores and whatever else you want, too. -Liza
